Our most recent population projections are the 2018-based subnational population projections for England, published on 24 March 2020.
To find the data used in the release, please click the 'View all data related to this statistical bulletin' under the Table of Contents. In that list, you will see the Population projections for local authorities dataset. The dataset contains yearly population projections for local authorities, including South Tyneside, up to 2043.
