Population demographics for Portsmouth from the 2011 Census

Please supply a breakdown of population demographics by ethnicity, gender identity, age, disability, sexuality of the portsmouth population from the census 2011.

Please see attached table DC2101EW – ethnic group by age and sex for Portsmouth. Sexual orientation and gender identity were new questions for Census 2021.  Statistics from Census 2021 will be released in a phased approach starting from spring 2022. You can review progress from the ONS website.

Statistics for the 2011 Census and previous censuses are all in the public domain. Outputs from 2001 and 2011 Censuses can be obtained online from Nomis.
