Population data for the Home Counties, Middlesex, and the County of London 1889 to 1965

​​I would like to obtain the population data for the Home Counties, Middlesex and the County of London from 1889 - 1965. I would like this information to make a collection of data on the impact that the creation of the Greater London Authority had on South-East England.

Please see in the accompanying download, named '1801-2001 Counties (Population and Area)', Census data of population and area at county level for the period 1801 through to 2001.  This is a bespoke historic Census population table produced from the published population statistics ten yearly Census volumes.

This data can also be found on the Histpop website - www.histpop.org, for the period 1801 - 1931. Please also see the additional download, named 'HISTPOP Instructions', should you wish to explore further Census data.
