2016 to 2017 data
We were responsible for the provision of Cancer statistics for England up to and including 2017.
The last publication of Cancer diagnosis and incidence is Cancer registration statistics, England - Office for National Statistics which holds analysis of 2017 data. In the "previous versions" tab, data for 2016 is also available.
2018 to 2021 data
We are no longer responsible for cancer diagnosis or incidence statistics. Therefore, for 2018 onwards this is information not held.
Data for 2018 was produced by Public Health England which can be found in their Cancer registration statistics, England: final release, 2018 - GOV.UK publication.
After the dissolution of Public Health England, this data is now managed by NHS Digital. Therefore, they are better placed to answer your enquiry for data pertaining to 2019 and onwards. They can be contacted via email at enquiries@nhsdigital.nhs.uk, and by telephone at +44 300 303 5678.
