I am looking for information about payments made to the Performing Rights Society and PPL (formerly known as Phonographic Performance Limited). Please could you provide me with the following:
How much money has been paid to the Performing Rights Society over the past five calendar years (up to an including May 2014)? Please could you break this information down year-by-year
How much money has been paid to the PPL (formerly known as Phonographic Performance Limited) over the past five calendar years (up to an including May 2014)? Please could you break this information down year-by-year
If FOI requests of a similar nature have already been asked could you also please include your responses to those requests.
We said
During the past five years ONS have transacted on three occasions with the Performance Rights Society - 2010 £104.56; 2012 £52.80; and 2013 £52.80. Over the same period of time ONS also transacted with PPL, previously know as Phonographic Performance Ltd - 2009 £133.63; 2010 £127.15; 2011 £135.83; and 2012 £143.44.
I am not aware of any other FOI's in relation to the two suppliers.
