The Home Office may be able to provide the figures you require in their Immigration Statistics Quarterly Release. You may contact them at foirequests@homeoffice.gov.uk.
However, to support and inform the response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we used preliminary counts from Census 2021 (the most up to date data available), to help local and national emergency response planners who need to understand communities across England and Wales.
Preliminary counts of country of birth by local authority for Ukraine and neighbouring or relevant countries for emergency planning in central and local government were provided. The data gives context to the picture of communities in England and Wales.
