ONS employees who have attended site 40% of the time

The count of unique ONS employees who have swiped into ONS sites Titchfield and Newport 40% or higher of the total working days in a month for each month from June 2024 to November 2024.

Please take note of the following limitations to the accuracy of gate-swipe data as you view this information. 

• The ONS hybrid working policy allows for instances or hours to be used to calculate whether 40% attendance in a 4-week monitoring period has been achieved. Therefore, whether someone has fulfilled the requirement to spend 40% of their working time in the office measured in hours, as opposed to instances, would not be accurately reflected in the data. 

• It is also important to note that swipe data will not be representative of part-time workers, those who have taken holiday or are on sick leave, and those who have different requirements due to workplace adjustments or other agreed reasons. 

• Individuals who have met the requirement through attendance at other sites, such as London, Darlington, Manchester offices and work at other locations (for example a training event) will not be reflected in this data.
