I am writing to request information regarding the number of people in England and Wales who were born in Albania and the number of people who were born in Greece, as recorded in the censuses of 2001 and 2011.

The following country of birth datasets are available from Nomis, which is a service run by Durham University on behalf of the Office for National Statistics. Further tables can be found at www.nomisweb.co.uk navigation instructions are attached.
2011 Census QS213EW - Country of birth (expanded)
2001 Census UV008 - Country of birth
Please also see the associated download named 'FOI-2024-2396_census_data' which shows the birth data where the rows for Albania and Greece have been highlighted in yellow for ease of reference.
