Number of Kenyan People in the UK

Can you please provide me with some information on the number of people in the UK who identify as Kenyan or of being Descended from Kenyans.

ONS does not produce any routine statistics which show Kenyan national identity or Kenyan descent which could answer your question.

The 2011 Census did ask about national identity and it would be possible to produce a table showing those that wrote-in their national identity as Kenyan - but this would be a commissioned table and would be chargeable (which is therefore exempt from FOIs). If you would like to pursue this information please contact: census.customerservices@ons.gov.uk.

ONS does publish annual figures on population of the UK by nationality, which would give you an estimate of the number of Kenyan nationals living in the UK over time. These figures can be found on the ONS website here:
