Thank you for your enquiry.

Information on the number of disabled people living on the fourth floor or higher is not held. However, similar data are collected by household surveys in some UK countries. The ONS do not hold these data.

Information on the number of households living in housing which is on the fourth floor or higher is collected for England on the English Housing Survey, which is commissioned by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. Data for Scotland are collected on the Scottish Household Survey, which is conducted by Ipsos Mori on behalf of the Scottish Government.

You may wish to contact the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for more information on the English Housing Survey at ehs@levellingup.gov.uk, and the Scottish Government for further information on the Scottish Household Survey at shs@gov.scot.
