The number of Covid-19 tests carried out daily since 01 April 2020 to present in the whole of the UK, broken down by eng/wal/scot/NI; I am not interested in the results of these tests. I would like to know how many people have been tested everyday. Please may I have this in an excel spreadsheet format returned via email, with a figure for each day e.g. 1 April 2020 20,000 tests, 2 April 2020 15,000 tests.

We hold information relating to the number of tests conducted on the COVID-19 Infection Survey. This information can be found on tab 6f of the datasets which accompany our bulletins.
Public Health England are responsible for all COVID-19 testing conducted. You can access this information on their dashboard. Should you have any questions regarding their data, please contact them via email at wn_coronavirus@phe.gov.uk.
