Our Build a custom area profile tool enables users to find statistics within a user-defined radius. Please see the associated downloads containing images for Sparkford, Warminster and Gillingham, together with Excel files containing the data.
The data generated via the build a custom profile tool is aggregated using data at the lowest geographic level available; the output area (OA). Please see this page on Census 2021 geographies for more information about OAs.
Points to note:
If an OA touches any part of a user defined boundary it will be included in the selection. However, users have the ability to refine the Output Area selection by using the arrow tool (2nd drawing option from the left), to either select or deselect areas before building the data profile.
Most data produced using this tool is presented as percentages.
