I would like to know, please, how many babies have been born in each month since (and including) June 2016 across the UK as a whole but also in each of the four home nations, if possible.
Additionally, could you tell me how many people in the UK have died in each month since (and including) June 2016 across the UK as a whole but also in each of the four home nations, if possible. Ideally, I would like that number for adults, but if that is not available then all deaths is fine.

We are responsible for the production of birth and death statistics for England and Wales. National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Table 4 in our birth summary tables release shows the number of births occurring each month in England and Wales from 1938 to 2022.
Our deaths registered monthly release gives the number of deaths registered each month in England and Wales from 2006 to 2023.
