When will statistics on hate crime next be published?
As part of CSEW hate crime stats were last produced 2017/18.

The Home Office publish an annual hate crime release containing statistics about offences recorded by the police in England and Wales, which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/hate-crime-england-and-wales-2022-to-2023/hate-crime-england-and-wales-2022-to-2023

The latest Crime Survey England and Wales (CSEW) data that were published as part of the Home Office hate crime release were for the three years to the year ending March 2020. The next publication of figures from the CSEW has been delayed because the face-to-face survey was suspended due to public health restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. CSEW interviews resumed in October 2021. This means that the first 3-year data set from the CSEW will not be available until 2025.
