Would it be possible for you to confirm, of the 42 neonatal deaths that you report in table 3 of the child and infant mortality statistics, 2019 for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (18 and 24 deaths respectively), what number had reported gestational ages at birth of less than 24 (completed) weeks?

We hold analysis showing neonatal deaths to babies born under 24 weeks or at 24 weeks and over in England in Table 19 of our child mortality (death cohort tables) for 2010 to 2019. Unfortunately, this analysis is at a national level and we do not hold further break downs by region, county or local authority. Therefore, in order to provide the exact data requested, we would need to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
