I would be grateful if you could please provide the list of names behind the figures for 'Number of Licensed Club workplaces by Local Authority, 2001 to 2020', as well as up to 2021 from this request?

Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request.
Unfortunately, we are not able to disclose the names of businesses contained in the Inter-Departmental Business Register (IDBR) as this constitutes personal information. Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) states that it is a criminal offence to disclose information held by the Statistics Board (ONS) for statistical purposes that would identify a body corporate. As we are prohibited by law from publishing statistics in which individual bodies corporate can be identified, Section 44(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies.
An update of the following publication, 'Public houses and bars, licensed clubs, licensed restaurants, unlicensed restaurants and cafes, and takeaway and food stands, London, 2001 to 2020', to include information from 2021 is available to order as bespoke analysis. Such services are subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources and agreement of costs.
