Please could you provide the mortality rates for drug and alcohol misuse or substance misuse generally, broken down into monthly mortality figures so as to make a direct comparison to the financial year statistics?
Could suggestions be made as to how I could do a comparison of a financial year funding statement and an annual mortality rate statistic by one of your statisticians?

The information you have requested is available to commission as a bespoke analysis. Such services would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs where appropriate.
As this information is available via another route, s.21(1) of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 is engaged. S.21 is an absolute exemption, and so no consideration of the public interest is required.
