I would like to request the following information: mortality (crude rate) from brain cancer (ICD-10 code: C71) in each local authority, pooled over the last three years.

The data requested on brain cancer mortality statistics are available via our explorable datasets on the NOMIS website;

To use the explorable dataset, Mortality Statistics -- underlying cause, sex and age, there are a number of options for you to choose from:
- Geography - select the geography you want the data for - local authorities can be selected
- Date - select the years you want the data for - there is data available from 2013 onwards
- Age - select the age range you are interested in -if you want all ages, select 'Total (all ages)'
- Rates - number of deaths is the default, rates can then be selected
- Sex - select either sex or 'Total' for both
- Underlying cause - you are able to select specific ICD-10 codes you are interested in i.e. C71
Once you have made your selection on the left-hand side, select 'Download data' and an excel data download will be created for you.
