We are responsible for mortality statistics for England and Wales. National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with the requested breakdown of mortality data for Cramlington from 1960 to present. In order to fulfil this request, we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement in order to create bespoke analysis for you. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.

The following publication, Death registrations and occurrences by local authority and health board, provides provisional counts of the number of deaths registered in England and Wales, including deaths involving the coronavirus (COVID-19), by local authority, health board and place of death in the latest weeks for which data are available. This data set also reports deaths occurring in hospitals, care homes, private homes, hospices and other communal establishments. This will provide 2020 data for this area.

Deaths by date of death and local authority, 2010 to 2014 occurrences: This provides the number of deaths occurring between 2010 and 2014 by date of death and local authority of usual residence.

Deaths by sex, age group, cause and local authority, England, deaths registered 1993 to 2013: This provides the number of deaths by sex, age group and cause chapter (in line with the International Classification of Diseases) for local authority areas in England, for deaths registered between 1993 and 2013.
