Please supply a monthly breakdown of deaths from 01/01/2020 to 30/06/2012 (or as current as you can) where COVID-19 is the only listed cause of death.

The numbers of deaths where COVID-19 was recorded as the sole condition on the death certificate and COVID-19 deaths by main pre-existing condition, for England and Wales, are available in our Provisional Monthly mortality analysis, England and Wales publication. The relevant dataset can be found via the following link, here. This publication contains data up to July 2021. It will be updated to include figures for August on in September 2021.
This information is broken down by quarter. Unfortunately, we do not hold a breakdown of this information by month. In order to provide this, we would need to create bespoke analysis, which we are not obligated to do under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). However, the information you have requested may be available to commission as bespoke analysis. Such services would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources and agreement of costs.
