I would like to know the monthly death count per 100,000 of population, by date of occurrence, from 1960 to the present, in England.

In order to provide monthly deaths by date of occurrence from 1960 to present, we would need to create a bespoke analysis as we do not hold the requested information. However, this may be available to commission as ad hoc analysis. Such services would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources and agreement of costs. If you would like to request this bespoke dataset, please contact health.data@ons.gov.uk to discuss your enquiry further. Annual deaths are available as part of our 21st Century Mortality Files for 2019 to 2001, and our 20th Century Mortality files for 1901 to 2000.
