​As part of a research project evaluating monoclonal antibodies in uncomplicated COVID-19, I would like to request information regarding:

  • How much has been spent by the UK government so far on monoclonal antibodies for non-hospitalised patients with uncomplicated COVID-19

  • Total number of doses of each monoclonal antibody given since licensure

  • What proportion of the purchased monoclonal antibodies have been used so far?

  • How much has the UK government spent on the purchase of Sotrovimab?

  • How many doses of Sotrovimab have been purchased thus far? Is the figure of 100,008 doses up-to-date?

  • How many doses of Ronapreve were bought by the UK government?

  • How much did the UK government spend on the purchase of Ronapreve?

We do not hold information on monoclonal antibodies. NHS England publishes data on the number of the monoclonal antibody treatments given to non-hospitalised and hospitalised patients in England on their COVID-19 Therapeutics webpage. The Office for National Statistics COVID-19 Infection Survey (CIS) is a household survey that estimates the number of people testing positive for infection and for antibodies in the UK. Our statistics refer to the number of current COVID-19 infections within the population living in private residential households. We exclude those in hospitals, care homes and/or other communal establishments.
