Thank you for your request.

Unfortunately, we do not hold the exact information you have requested.

We routinely publish household income, which includes wages in our Average household income publication. The information in these tables is derived from our Household Finances Survey (HFS), with data most recently available for financial year ending 2024. In this release we routinely publish mean original income and its components, including wages, however we do not produce modal income. When interpreting HFS data, please note that estimates are averaged across all UK households and not only for those who receive a wage. Specific estimates of modal wages only for households that receive a wage, along with household counts may be available to order via our bespoke services, subject to sufficient sample size and statistical robustness. Such services are subject to legal frameworks, resources and agreement of costs, subject to our charging policy. If you would like to request bespoke datasets, please contact the household income and expenditure analysis team hie@ons.gov.uk to discuss your enquiry further.
