Long-term international migration, provisional: year ending June 2024 provides estimates of UK long-term international migration year ending June 2012 to year ending June 2024. This includes immigration and emigration.
We do not collect information on 'illegal migrants'. Information on irregular migration is included in the 'How many people come to the UK irregularly?' chapter within the Home Office's 'Immigration system statistics quarterly release'. A complete list of published data on irregular migration to the UK can be found in the 'Irregular migration detailed datasets and summary tables' chapter.
