You asked
I am emailing to ask about the amount of Met police misconduct hearings over the last 10 years.
Each hearing is recorded on the Met website but there is no record I can find on the amount of hearings per year. I would like to know this, along with the amount of Met hearings that resulted in a gross/misconduct dismissal if possible.

Thank you for your request.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested regarding police misconduct hearings. The ONS Centre for Crime and Justice publish figures on the levels and trends of crime in England and Wales primarily based on two sets of crime statistics: the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and Police Recorded Crime (PRC) data provided by the Home Office. Neither of these data sources collect information on the amount of police misconduct hearings over the last ten years and their outcomes.
A recent annual publication by the Home Office for official statistics on police misconduct for year ending March 2023 can be found here. The Home Office may be able to help further, they can be contacted at the following email address: policingstatistics@homeoffice.gov.uk.
