FOI reference: FOI-2024-2410
You asked
ONS's response of 11 December 2019 to my FOI request reference FOI/2019/0164 mentioned a Memorandum of Understanding between ONS and Ordnance Survey (OS), and stated:
"This MoU is currently under review. The revised version will be published in full on our website when completed (expected early 2020.)"
If ONS has a revised MoU with OS, please provide me with a copy of the most recent version (including annexes or appendices, if any).

Thank you for your request.
The initial 2018 to 2020 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organisations was signed in 2018 by John Pullinger, National Statistician of the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Nigel Clifford, CEO of Ordnance Survey (OS). This was published on the website as mentioned.
There was a draft 2020 to 2022 MoU, however it was never signed off by the new executive teams due to changes. ONS and OS carried on collaborating at working level nevertheless on a best-endeavour basis, maintaining a good communication and strategic relationship, between the two organisations.
ONS is currently working with OS on a new programme of collaboration exploring various old workstreams and new opportunities, however nothing has been signed off yet.
