You asked

Please could you tell me which of these organisations you have met with over the past 7 years (from 2018) and how many times you have met with them up to the present day:

1. TransActual

2. Stonewall

3. Gendered Intelligence

4. GIRES

Please could you say what the purpose of the meetings was if you met with any of these organisations and provide any official minutes.

We said

In answer, between 2018 and 2025, ONS representatives have met with:

• Stonewall 31 times
• GIRES four times
• Gendered Intelligence four times
• We have not met with TransActual

We interpreted ‘met’ in your request to include a wide range of meetings, of the types we had with thousands of individuals, organisations and communities across numerous sectors in this period around Census 2021. These therefore included advisory group discussions, roundtables, workshops and Parliamentary briefings where numerous groups, individuals and communities were represented, with a range of views, through to one-to-one meetings or calls.

The larger numbers of these meetings were not private but public and open discussions, and in line with our engagement work do not traditionally result in minutes. We have provided the minutes held in the associated download. Personal data has been redacted under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
