- 1 April 2025 – 31 October 2025
Please provide the data in Excel format, including the following details for each month:
- By grade, specialty, and sub-specialty
- For each hospital
- Split by framework and non-framework agencies

Unfortunately, we do not hold the specific information requested for medical agencies.
We produce the UK Health Accounts publication which provides UK healthcare expenditure data by financing scheme, function and provider, however this doesn't include the requested information for medical agencies.
Although loosely related, the publication by HM Treasury on Country and regional analysis Table A.11 - Expenditure on Health may be of interest.
NHS England publish detailed spending by hospital and specialties in their NHS Costs Collection data which may be of help to you. Therefore, your question may be better placed directly with the NHS direct at costings@england.nhs.uk.
