Thank you for your query regarding the weekly hours worked by men and women in employment.
Estimates of the average weekly hours worked by men and women are available from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). These are published on a monthly basis in table HOUR01.
In the period November 2022 to January 2023, the latest data available, men worked an average of 35.3 hours per week, while women worked an average of 27.8 hours per week.
