Could I please request the number of marriages between a UK citizen and a non-UK citizen between 2021-2022? This applies to same-sex and opposite-sex marriages, regardless of the type of marriage (civil unions or religious marriages etc).

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request regarding the number of marriages between a UK citizen and a non-UK citizen between 2021-2022.
We produce data on marriages using information received the from General Register Office (GRO). Our latest data published in for 2020.
Unfortunately, we do not hold the requested information, as nationality and country of birth are not provided to us by GRO.
It is possible that the GRO might have some information on nationality for some people getting married, but they would be best placed to advise on whether they can provide this.
