Please provide me with real data, showing the amount of Live births in the UK, from 1 January 2018 to 1 February 2023, on a per month basis, scale /graph and quarterly scale.

We are responsible for the production of births data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the birth certificate at birth registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Therefore, we do not hold the data for the whole of the UK. If you would like this information for Scotland and Northern Ireland, NRS and NISRA can be contacted at foi@nrscotland.gov.uk and info@nisra.gov.uk respectively.
The latest analysis we hold for England and Wales is Births in England and Wales, which holds annual figures of live births, stillbirths and the intensity of childbearing, measured by the total fertility rate.
We will publish 2022 data in July or August 2023, the final date will be announced on our Release calendar.
For monthly data, we hold the following user requested datasets:
Live births by month of occurrence and sex of baby, England and Wales, 2012 to 2020
Live births by month of occurrence and local authority, Wales: January 2011 to March 2021
If these do not meet your needs, we can create a bespoke data set for 2018 to 2022, however please note 2022 data will be based on provisional data which may be subject to change. Custom extracts of birth registration data are available to order, subject to disclosure control, legal frameworks, resources and agreement to costs under the ONS Charging policy.
