I would like to know if you could give me a list of the clinics that provided abortions in London in the 1970s

Thank you for your request.
We use abortions data which is owned by the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) to produce statistics on the number of conceptions in England and Wales. These data do not hold information on the clinic where the abortion was facilitated.
DHSC do produce a list of Independent Clinics and Hospitals that are approved to carry out abortions and may have the historic data you require. They can be contacted by email on abortionpolicy@dhsc.gov.uk.
