Please could you provide me with your latest data on the ethnicity* (e.g. White, Black, Asian, Mixed, Other) of young unpaid carers in the UK (i.e over 16 but under 25 or 30)?
Can the data be more granular than suggested (e.g. can the 'Asian' category be broken down into 'Indian', 'Pakistani', 'Bangladeshi', etc.)?

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) are responsible for publishing statistics from Census on unpaid carers in England and Wales. Information on unpaid carers in Scotland and Northern Ireland is available from the Scotland Census website and the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency. The most recent data we have available for unpaid carers in England and Wales is the 2011 Census. Using the 2011 Census Table CT0415 - Sex by age by ethnic group by provision of unpaid care you will be able to identify the ethnic breakdowns of young unpaid carers in England and Wales.
