You asked

I'm looking for statistics on Labour disputes in the UK 2019 - the same information that can be found in reviews such as the one for 2018, which is linked. https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabourmarket/peopleinwork/workplacedisputesandworkingconditions/articles/labourdisputes/2018 . Particularly the information found under 'Main Points', which includes: working days lost to labour disputes in the year 2019, the sector which lost the most working days and what proportion it was in %, the number of working days lost in the public sector, the number of workers involved in Labour disputes and the number of stoppages recorded.

If statistics are available for the calendar years of 2020 and 2021, I would like to request those too.

Thank you for your request.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic presents a significant challenge to the UK, and the Office for National Statistics (ONS) is working to ensure that the UK has the vital information needed to respond to the impact of this pandemic on our economy and society.

The effects of the pandemic on our capacity and capability during this period means we have continued to review our existing labour market releases. As part of this ongoing review, it was decided in April 2020 that the collection and production of statistics on Labour Disputes would be suspended.

As such, this means that we do not hold any more up to date data than what is currently available on the ONS website.

This, alongside other actions, has protected the delivery and quality of our remaining outputs and has allowed us to respond to new demands resulting from the pandemic and its effect on the labour market.

In the short-term, the Labour Disputes series will remain suspended.

We are however reviewing its status and will communicate any decision on its long-term future through the appropriate channels.
