I am looking for the annual international migration data, both into and out of Calderdale, by country, for each year between 2011 and 2020 inclusive (or later years if available). I have looked online at a great deal of ONS and Calderdale Council information but to not found anything covering my needs.

Unfortunately, due to the low volume of arrivals at Local Authority level we are unable to provide you with this data due to statistical disclosure concerns. Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) renders it an offence to disclose information held by the Statistics Board for statistical purposes that would identify an individual or a body corporate. As we are prohibited by law from publishing statistics in which individual businesses or persons can be identified, we find that Section 44 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies. Section 44 is an absolute exemption and no consideration of the public interest test needs to be applied.
Please note that even if we were to provide this data, Immigration statistics of this calibre are not typically statistically robust. The data includes individuals who may have arrived in the UK earlier, who initially settled elsewhere in the UK and moved to Calderdale at a later date and as such it is very likely that as a result of this there will be no meaningful figure.
