I am interested in figures showing the number of people who immigrated and emigrated, by their nationality and age group. My request comes in two parts.
You asked
International migration
Firstly, I'm interested in immigration/emigration in the following combinations:
Year ending: June 2022, June 2023, June 2024, June 2025
Age: Under 16; 16-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55-64; 65+
Nationality: British, EU, non-EU
Essentially, I'm hoping you can provide something equivalent to tables 7a to 7c in the YE June 2025 net migration statistics, but also for the three preceding years.
Internal migration
Please could you also provide immigration/emigration to/from England and Wales to other parts of the UK, in the same combinations:
Year ending: June 2022, June 2023, June 2024, June 2025
Age: Under 16; 16-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55-64; 65+
Nationality: British, EU, non-EU
For example, one cell in the data would be the number of 25-34-year-olds who left England and Wales for Scotland or Northern Ireland in YE June 2024.

The latest release (YE June 2025 figures, though please note for British it is YE March 2025) is the first time that we have produced age breakdowns for British and EU+ nationalities using current methods, and therefore there is no back series for these.
Please find linked YE June 2024 in Table 8 of the November 2024 release for non-EU+ in addition to YE June 2025 (Table 7c) that you have already listed. However, it has larger age categories than what is requested.
Unfortunately, we do not hold any data by age breakdown prior to the YE June 2024 period.
We will be creating further breakdowns to YE June 2022 and YE June 2023 and are planning to publish these data in May 2026.
The internal migration flows are available on our website, which runs from the Analysis of Population Estimates tool. The England and Wales data for all components of change (including international migration) are also available in the Analysis of Population Estimates tool; however, these are unfortunately not available by nationality grouping. Please note that we do not hold these figures for 2025.
