In sequence, I would like to kindly request for data relating to these topics:
- Number of reported end-of-life patients in 2022 and 2023 in either the UK or England only
- Number of deaths in intensive care in 2022 and 2023 in either the UK or England only

Unfortunately, we do not hold analysis of hospitalisations, intensive care admissions or intensive care casualties.
Our data on hospital episodes is obtained from the Hospital Episode Statistics published by NHS Digital with an approximately 3 month delay. We only use this data to determine pre-existing conditions and general health of individuals, therefore we do not hold analysis on recent hospitalisations. Our mortality data is taken from information collated at the point of death registration. Whilst this provides place of death such as hospital or hospice, it does not provide further breakdown such as the area of the hospital that the death occurred.
