I would like to request statistics relating to insolvencies in the food and beverage sectors since 1 January 2022 to the most recent available statistics. Preferably split in to industries (like restaurants/pubs) or SIC Codes relating to the industry (56101, 56102, 56103, 56210, 56290, 56301, 56302).

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request.
We produce an annual and quarterly publication called Business Demography and Business Demography; quarterly experimental statistics that measures both business births and business deaths. Data in the publication are taken from the Inter Departmental Business Register (IDBR) and consist of businesses registered with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) for Value Added Tax (VAT) and/or Pay as You Earn (PAYE).
Unfortunately, we do not hold the data you have requested as we are unable to identify the business closure reasons, i.e., ceased to trade/insolvent/dormant.
