You asked

I am requesting the following institutional data:

1. Institutional Classification: Has data related to the nature of higher education institutions involved in the reported suicides been aggregated or analysed based on institutional categories such as traditional, metropolitan, ancient, red brick, plate glass, new, specialist, technological, or Russell Group? If so, I request access to any available datasets or reports related to this analysis.

2. Geographical Factors: Has any analysis been conducted to assess the geographical distribution of these suicides, including differences between institutions in England and Wales? If so, I request access to any relevant data that highlights how regional factors or differences in NHS provisions across these areas may contribute to trends.

3. Temporal Patterns: Has any analysis been conducted to identify recurring patterns or trends among institutions over time? If so, I request access to any relevant data that highlights whether certain types of institutions appear repeatedly in the statistics.

4. Institutional Context at Dataset Linkage: Has institutional information – specifically details regarding the nature of institutions at the time of dataset linkage – been used to provide context for these suicides (e.g., the institution's classification, size, or region)? If so, I would like access to any such data or analysis related to institutional factors.

Thank you for your request.

Unfortunately, we do not collect information that would enable us to determine the institution where higher education student suicides occurred. As such, we do not hold the information you have requested in points 1 to 4 of your request.
