  5. How many residents have had to self- isolate with suspected symptoms between 13/03/20 and 29/05/20?

  6. How many staff have had to self-isolate at home between 13/03/20 and 29/05/20?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with the specific information you have requested, regarding Abundant Grace Nursing Home. The figures that would be involved in an answer to this request would be very small and could prove to be disclosive. Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) renders it a criminal offence to release personal information. Personal information is any information held by the Board for statistical purposes that would identify an individual or a body corporate. This includes deceased individuals. As disclosure of the requested information is prohibited by another enactment, the information is considered exempt by Section 44 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). Section 44 is absolute exemption, so no test of the public interest is required.

The following publication: Death registrations and occurrences by local authority and health board, provides care home deaths on a weekly basis by Local Authority. This is updated every Tuesday.
