Will you please provide me with a downloadable (CSV or XLSX format) list of all UK independent nursery and child care providers? The list should include at minimum provider name, postal address, email and telephone number.

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request enquiring information on independent nurseries and child care providers.
Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose the data you have requested as it is personal information. Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) renders it a criminal offence to disclose information held by the Statistics Board for statistical purposes that would identify a body corporate. As we are prohibited by law from publishing statistics in which individual businesses can be identified, Section 44(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies.
However, if such business was registered with Companies House you may find the information you require on their website. In addition, if such businesses offer childcare provision that is regulated, their details may be published by Ofsted in England, Care Inspectorate Wales, or Scottish Government.
