The most comprehensive source of earnings estimates that we produce is the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE). You may wish to view our annual publication which includes numerous data tables including estimates by aspects such as age group, and separately by low geographies.
However, it doesn't include estimates based on a combination of age and city. Creation and provision of those estimates may be requested via our ad hoc analysis facility, which is a charged-for service. Please note that ASHE has a total sample size of approximately 170,000 employee jobs and estimates may be of weak robustness at a low level of granularity.
As the information that can be provided is already available to you via this route, we consider that s.21(1) applies to this request and the information does not have to be supplied under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act. S.21(1) is an absolute exemption and no consideration of the public interest test needs to be applied.
