Immigrants to the UK from various countries, 2000 to 2020

You asked

​​I would like to request the following information:

  1. The number of people who immigrated to the UK from Albania, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Greece, Italy and Spain from 2000 until 2020.

  2. The number of people from Albania, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Greece, Italy and Spain who emigrated from the UK to other destinations from 2000 until 2020.

We said

​Thank you for your Freedom of Informatioin request about the number of people who immigrated to the UK from Albania, Bangladesh, Brazil, Columbia, Greece, Italy and Spain from 2000 until 2020 and the number of people from Albania, Bangladesh, Brazil, Columbia, Greece, Italy and Spain who emigrated from the UK to other destinations from 2000 until 2020.

We publish data from the International Passenger Survey; for country of birth by country of last or next residence which hold the data you request for the years 2000 to 2018, which is the latest available. This dataset is provisionally scheduled to be updated in November 2020 with 2019 data. 2020 data will be published in 2021.
