I found this data which has been incredibly helpful called 'Median house prices by lower layer super output area: HPSSA dataset 46' located here:

https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/housing/datasets/medianpricepaidbylowerlayersuperoutputareahpssadataset46

However rather than quarterly data, I'm hoping to be able to see this at the annual level. As I don't have access to the raw data, I was wondering if it would be possible to provide median house prices per LSOA11CD with these alterations:

  1. Filtered on neighbourhoods in England only if possible

  2. Aggregated at an annual level instead of quarterly, between 1996 and 2019 (it seems that 1995 only has one quarter and 2019 data only goes up to September now so if you can omit 1995 and aggregate 2019 data based on 3 quarters of data that would be great, otherwise only up to and including 2018 would be alright too).

The raw data used to produce the House Price Statistics for Small Areas is the publicly available Price Paid Data, published by HM Land Registry.

The House Price Statistics for Small Areas that you have linked in your Freedom of Information request is annual data published on a quarterly basis, so the data reflects what has occurred in the year to date; it is not a quarterly period. To use a calendar year estimate, please only use year ending December YYYY, and disregard other columns.

To filter on neighbourhoods in England you can filter out all the Local Authority codes that begin with the letter "W". All England Lower Layer Super Output Area codes begin with the letter "E".

A filtered HPSSA: Dataset 46 to what you need can be found attached to this FOI answer.
