Many thanks for this detailed reply. As some time has gone by, and government policy on the Integrated Data Platform is now underway, I wanted to request that you reconsider the redaction of the single slide from this response. Given the amount of time that has gone by, and the fact that government policy on the matter is now laid out, I believe the Section 35 exemption will no longer apply.

Please see the attached PDF document, named 'FOI_1079_SandE_Teacher_and_Adult_Social_Care_Workers_Slide'. This contains the requested slide, which we had previously redacted under Section 35 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
Please also see the attached Excel spreadsheet named 'DataTables_1.xlsx'. This contains two tables:
- Distribution of hours worked for those who remained in teaching and those who changed profession
- Distribution of job leavers by skill level of new job for teachers and all employees
The other information requested are statistics on those who work in adult social care, including:
- Percentage who work full-time
- Percentage who are female
- Percentage of a non-white ethnicity
- Mean age of care workers
- Chart showing the change in the number of jobs between 2012 and 2018
This information was obtained from a third party, Skills for Care. The specific data presented in the slide has been superseded since the slide was created and is no longer available on the Skills for Care website. There are however, more up to date equivalent estimates which can be found at the links given here:
- The most recent information for the change in the number of jobs can be found here: The size and structure of the adult social care sector and workforce in England.
- The most recent data for demographic breakdowns of adult social care workers can be found here: ASC Workforce, Statistical Appendix 2020.
