I would like to request data pertaining to the number of hospital admissions due to recreational drug usage in the past 10 years (2013 to 2023).

Thank you for your request.
Unfortunately, we do not hold information relating to hospitalisations due to recreational drug use.
Whilst we do hold some data on hospitalisations relating to COVID-19, our data is obtained from the Hospital Episode Statistics, which are published by NHS Digital with an approximately 3 month delay. Therefore, we use this data to determine pre-existing conditions and general health of individuals, but not to analyse recent hospitalisations.
