Thank you for your enquiry.
We published statistics from the Homicide Index alongside the release Homicide in England and Wales: year ending March 2017. Tables 3 and 4 in the associated Appendix tables contain an age breakdown of the victim. The Homicide Index contains detailed information about each homicide recorded by police in England and Wales. These data are for the year ending March 2017. We do not hold the required breakdown of the data to allow us to produce statistics for the year ending December 2017.
Appendix table 10a shows the number of offences currently recorded as homicide for victims aged under 16, by relationship of victim to principal suspect, which includes whether the victim was the son or daughter of the principal suspect. We do not hold the specific breakdowns you have requested relating to the perpetrator.
The Homicide Index is owned by the Home Office and they may be able to provide you with a more detailed breakdown. The Home Office can be contacted at crimeandpolicestats@homeoffice.gov.uk.
