You asked

According to your site, in every age group over 25, more women than men were convicted of homicide in the year ending March 2017;

https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/crimeandjustice/articles/homicideinenglandandwales/yearendingmarch2017

Can these figures be disaggregated to show how many of these were murder, how many manslaughter and how many infanticide?

Is it possible to disaggregate this information to show homicide convictions for born women and transgender women separately, and born men and transgender men separately?

Thank you for your enquiry.

The chart you are referring to shows the percentage distribution of suspects convicted of homicide across the different age bands for both male and female suspects. For example, of the total number of male suspects convicted of homicide, 42% were within the 16 to 24 age band and 25% were in the 25 to 34 age band. For female suspects convicted of homicide, 15% were in the 16 to 24 age band and 26% were in the 25 to 34 age band.

Appendix table 19 within the publication ‘Homicide in England and Wales: year ending March 2017’ contains numbers of suspects convicted of homicide, by age and sex. From this table you will see that for the year ending March 2017, in all age bands up to and including 45 to 54, there were more male suspects convicted of homicide than female.
