Please provide data for 2018-2019 for fraud by builders/and or tradespeople (electrician, plumber etc) and what percentage of victims actually get a conviction against the perpetrator.

The Office for National Statistics publish a quarterly release on Crime in England and Wales which contains data on fraud and computer misuse. The Appendix Tables, Other related tables and Additional tables on fraud which are published alongside the quarterly release provide more detailed figures (including times series data) on fraud. Unfortunately, we do not publish data for fraud aggregated by the profession of the perpetrator.
Data on the convictions of perpetrators are held by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). They may be better placed to answer this part of your request. You can contact them directly at: ESD@justice.gov.uk.
