You asked
In Table 6 of the 2022 edition of “Parents’ country of birth” you provide Estimated age-specific fertility rates and estimated total fertility rates for UK-born and non-UK-born women.
The published data ends in 2021, and I am trying to get some of the same data for the years since then.
If it makes it simpler I do not necessarily need the age breakdown (though that would be nice) just the Total Fertility Rate (TFR) by Women born inside the UK and Women born outside the UK.

Thank you for your request.
We hold fertility rates for UK-born and non-UK-born women for 2022 and 2023, which can be found in the associated dataset. These rates are calculated using data from the Annual Population Survey (APS) as denominators. We do not hold this information for more recent years.
Historically, we used the APS as denominators to produce fertility rates for UK-born and non-UK-born women as part of our Parents’ country of birth dataset. However, this was discontinued in 2022 because of quality issues relating to the APS data used as denominators. We do not consider these rates of sufficient quality to publish.
Fertility rates presented here do not align with the overall fertility rates published elsewhere because of the use of different population denominators in their calculations. The APS data have also not been rebased to take account of Census 2021. These data should not be used to understand total fertility rates, and we do not recommend use of the fertility rates for UK-born and non-UK-born women based on the APS data because of these quality concerns.
We are working to progress the production of country of birth statistics, using:
a rolled-forward cohort component method based on census data
administrative data
For more recent years, you may find of interest the 2024 and 2025 edition of our Parent’s country of birth dataset, the latter of which was released in May 2026.
